What Our Client Says?

I was a new health professional moving to town. Kate contacted me and asked about what I would like to find out about my new destination. We proceed on a tour of Taree and the surroundings. It was the easiest way to know about facilities, other health services and what attractions there were. She put me at ease in making this move and was able to provide ongoing assistance. I would recommend any new professional coming to town to have time with Kate as it would save you a lot of legwork.

Kate has welcomed me into Taree and I now am going to make it my home. I’ve joined a circle of friends and I’ve spent days off swimming and at spa and sauna after her recommendations. The walks on the beach have been amazing. Kate found me accommodation in Wallabi Point on the beach which was so relaxing hearing the ocean going to sleep . I have also met a lovely retired police officer whom I’m coming back to live with after my break. I didn’t expect to find love, but Taree is a beautiful hidden gem.

From finding the perfect home to assisting my wife in securing a job, their dedication was evident at every step. The program not only addresses practical aspects like housing and employment but also fosters a sense of community through school connections, social activities, and events. I am more than happy to endorse the Mid Coast Connector Service. Their commitment to making relocation a positive experience is truly commendable. Kate was very supportive in helping me find a range of local services when I moved to the region. Everything from a hairdresser to a gym. The regular networking dinners are also a great way to meet people. Such a great service in a regional centre for new residents!

We moved here to Taree and were struggling a lot to settle in, looking for a school for kids, and care for my daughter. Then we met Kate, our community connector. She helped us a lot to connect with more people around here in Taree. We went to the First Steps Count for kids' entertainment and learning. I received help getting a job for my wife, school for our son and much more.
